Opinions on squeeky suspension
Just a couple days ago I noticed a squeek from the front passenger side of my GXE. It got worse yesterday to the point when driving it sounds like worn out suspension. That is not the case since I built up some CSK's with RM's in August of last year. I arrived home and proceeded to push down on that corner of the car to hear the squeek when the suspension compressed hard enough. I can't hear exactly where the sound is originating from. I'm going to ask my neighbor to bounce the corner while I listen more closely to find out where the sound is coming from.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any poly bushings installed? If so they will need to be greased once in awhile to prevent this. If not check your mounts and make sure everything is tight. could be the spring where it mates to the lower perch, if you do not have rubber isolators it can squeak.

I have poly control arm and sway bar bushings that have the supplied grease that doesn't wash off with water. I have checked the upper mounts and they are tight. The nut for the strut is also tight. I do also have the stock lower perch spring isolator and upper so I couldn't imagine them causing the problem. It seems to be getting worse every day that I drive it. It also make the sound when I step on the gas hard enough from a stop, like the torque of the engine is causing something to bind. This is really getting annoying.

I would grease the bushings in the control arm. Thats my best guess, it does wear out after time.

Could be worn shocks, struts or loose springs. Suspension problems are actually hard to diagnose as it is composed of a network of automotive parts. The key here is attack it systematically.
