B13 DD / Track alignment
I have been scouring the two forums for alignment settings, and have found recommendations for just about every alignment setting possible for our cars. So I wanted to see what people thought. First, my car:

-B13
-Hyperco springs with Koni struts
-Superpro caster bushings
-Progress rear sway, ES bushings w/ OEM front sway
-205/50/15 tires
-lots of braces

I am just getting the front aligned at the moment. This car is mostly a DD, but it has seen, and will again see, the track. I am thinking about:

1 degree negative camber
1/32 toe in (although I never saw if it was inches, cm, or what)

Thoughts?

Do you use street tyres or R comps on the track? And would you be willing to live with a bit of slightly funny behavior on the street for better times on a road course?

BTW, "1/32" usually refers to 1/32 inches.

The car should inherently gain some negative camber up front from the springs. See if you can get a little more than -1 degree. Road courses are going to be hard on the front tires, and extra camber will even out wear/temps without much tradeoff in street longevity.

You said the car is mostly a daily driver, so that answers toe. Go with slight toe-in, and just get the alignment close enough. Trackdays aren't for winning anything, just fun. You'll have more fun with a car tracking a straight line down the highway 30 days per month than you will the one day you go to the track.
