Thread: New bracing idea!

I've posted about this before, but now i will be able to post up pics soon. My base model 200sx did not come with a fold down rear seat. instead, behind the seat is a piece of stamped stell that surrounds the area and has a horizontal bar running aross. i think this would add some extra bracing to our cars, though i don't know how much. i removed it from my car in my ricer days, but now i'm gonna reinstall it once i get her up and running again. just thought i would throw it out there since it is direct bolt in and not a heavy as the IKEA brace method. pics will follow soon.

Do it, that's what Toyota did with the XRS Corolla. no folding seats but it's has a X brace behind it.

yep it's for the 200..sorry i neglected to put that. i could not find my battery charger, or i would have some pics up. pics later today hopefully.

the b14 sentra should be the same back there. I have contemplated an x-brace with a flat backing like the IKEA idea.
