It should be about what you see in the pics. My car has Progress coilovers with the Dan Gardner 450/350 setup and there really is no droop. In fact, the car was sitting in my driveway for a few weeks without an engine and you couldn't even tell.

Well according to MR, a brace makes the car feel like a go cart. Just curious bluebomber, how much does this bar weigh?

That LCA is going to smack the ground pretty hard.


Have you got any good pictures, that show the design and how its put together specifically. I am concerned about twist and flex in the bar.

That is a good point. Those hiem joints will allow twisting between the two attachment points. If I can see correctly in the picture.

Not trying to give you a hard time, but I am interested in this product so I want to offer as much constructive criticism as i can

The B-13 is not the strongest of chassis. The weakest point is where those large bolts are on the lower control arm. The flex from that point, on the wheels affects hard acceleration, heavy braking, positive and negative camber in hard cornering.
On acceleration and braking the the control arms flex towards each other causing toe change. This also makes torque steer worse. On hard cornering the negative camber you dialed in just becomes positive camber because of the flex. like a sway bar it's just along for the ride while driving in a straight line. Triangulation is not necessary but tying into the crossmember will help with both strength and clearance. (flexes in on acceleration, out on braking)
Tying into the crossmember will require some welding. Since this a budget bar this is the best option. This bar will make the steering crisper and more responsive.

A note to those who run without a front sway bar. I will by no means infringe on driver preference or comfort. But if you run without a front swaybar, put on a lower cont. bar. you just may put it back on.

Jim's point is dead on here. A lower control arm BRACE is supposed to keep the lower control arms in their respective locations across from each other in the horizontal plane. It is not designed to prevent flexing in the front to rear plane.

There is no rear flexing. The load is lateral, Side to side. Any bar would be better than none.

Great that is good to hear and makes perfect sense.

Jim, looking at your post would you say a daily driver would feel the benefit from this? I hate to be "lets see some dyno charts before I buy this"....but I am very curios as to how much of a difference in feel on the streets this will give (ex: light,moderate,heavy).
