Thread: wheel rim question

hey guys need help on deciding what off set to get I want to get some 16 in rims ( rota grids ) but don't know what off set to get the rims are 16x7 and I can get it with a 40 off set or 34 off set

I'm not sure what the off set does but I just want my rims to kinda stick out next to the fender (flush with the car) and I also want to use some meatty tires cuz I drive to work in new york city every day and the city has some nasty streets

also my car is not dropped still on stock suspension and I think it will be that way for a while also ( sleeper look)

so if anybody can help me out thanks alot
