Wheel bearings!!
I was at the tire shop today and was pointed out on my car that the front driver side wheel bearings are shot the guy actualy shook the wheel back and forth in front of me and told me i could loose my wheel while driving how true is that statement?? then proceeds to tell me the they can do the job cause the old one has to be cut off and the new has to be hydro pressed on (i believed that part) so i told him il get new ones from the dealer he told me they can get borg warner (brand) and says they are better than the OEM.how true is that??

yes your wheel can come off if it is bad enought. To much strain can be put on the studs and possibly break off. The cutting statement is BS. They have to take the front and rear seals off which you can do with a flat head press the Old bearing out and then press the new ones in and install new front and rear seal for the bearing. Thats it. Its simple... no cutting involve. i know because i just did one in my car

SMH the thing about buying an old car eh? ever noticed when you start buying brand new or upgraded parts a chain reaction happens?? My cuz had B13 that he treated like S#!T,Valucraft oil and gas and that it !! drive it 400miles every weekend to upstate NY and you would think the car would leave him on the road right?? i bought mine (rusty due to life at the sea front) from the orignal owner the title still said NEW and im having to do some damn thing every week digging into my pay check to buy parts.

its always like that. you buy something new and then it puts a greater strain on the old parts that have not been changed and then they start to fail.. its always like that man,,, you buy a ball joint and the other side fails a week later . get a axle and the other side fails... its always like that

It's always a good idea to do anything brakes/suspension-related on both sides for that exact reason. Do it at once rather than once a week.
