I hate ball joints. In fact I'm sitting with bruised, cut, sore fingers as I'm typing here because I was installing my ES bush kit yesterday. Why do those b@stard ball joints have to be so difficult to remove....??!?!?!?!?!
I don't understand why people have such a big problem with ball joints...
1. If it already had a Moog in there. Whats the big deal with HAVING to have an OEM one? Why not put another Moog in there. Moog's are better for one, and two they are able to be regressed unlike the OEM ones. Doing unnecessary steps just so you can say it's OEM is stupid.
2. They are not hard to remove. Actually it's pretty easy. Rent the tool for like $30 bucks to remove it. You get your money back. Makes lthe job 100x's easier and takes like 5 mins.
I don't know if it's me but welding a ball joint into me just sounds like more of a hassle before and after.

Obviously you have not removed a MOOG to put a new MOOG in the control arm. If you did you will se that it will not work. The hole WILL be stretched out and must be $5.00 tackwelded or free if you have a welder. Not more hassle if you ask me.
I want to see pics of how it doesn't fit. Because in the 8 years I have been working on my car this is the 1st time I have ever heard anything about a ball joint not fitting after another was removed.
How many people have had this issue? Was it a moog to moog install in all matter's? What side of the car did this happen to?

I've done it, but If I can get a OEM control arm for $55 I'd do it.
