Brake Info
Ok iam now assembling my B13, and iam looking to upgrade the Brakes, lines, Sway Bar before i buy a motor. So my questions are:

1.a) What year maxima rear calipers and cables do i need? and will the cables fit my e-brake w/o any modifications?

1.b) Will it work properly with my stock SE-R rotors?

2.a) can i get any NX2k Front calipers and brackets?

2.b) will my Se-R rotors work with the caliper just fine?

3.) And do i get Nx2k pads or Se-r pads?

4.) What RSB "Bolts-on" the easiest, and is there any write ups for installation?

BTW i have a 91 Se-r with a tokico M/C

I always forget this. I think it is 1995-1996 Maxima non-ABS rear ("loaded") calipers, but I never remember this correctly. Greg at GSpec told me what I needed when I did the upgrade and I can never remember which it is. Someone else will chime in.

No. You will need G20 (P10) rear e-brake cable brackets to make this work. You will need to grind down the locating dowel on the bracket to "clock" it properly.

No. Part of the fun of the Maxima rears is that you get a larger rotor. You can get the Maxima rotors re-drilled for a 4 lug bolt pattern or you can get the JDM NX2000 rear rotors (I think, not 100% sure) and they are the same size as the Maxima rotors but come with the right bolt pattern to begin with.

You sure can. Tons of people do this.

Not really. The SE-R rotors are slightly smaller, and a lot thinner than the NX2000 front rotors. They will work for a bit, but the pistons in the caliper will fall out before the brake pads wear halfway through. The SE-R rotors are not the right rotor. You want NX2000 rotors.

You need to get the pads to match the calipers. In the front if you have NX2000 calipers, you need NX2000 pads only. In the rear if you have Maxima calipers, you need Maxima pads.

The easiest bolt in rear sway bar is the Suspensions Techniques (ST) sway bar (I think there is one for sale that has been for sale for like a year on this forum). It bolts right in, and you can use the ES bushings for it.

The Progress rear sway bar is very popular (ST bar not even made any more). It is 3-way adjustable for stiffness but the end links need some "set-up" to make sure the bar doesn't interfere with anything.
