Man those are 14s. If I threw 17s it would look like that. Get out of here with that V-dub or whatever.

I figured you would like the drop once installed, and it should be pointed out that you should have stock suspension travel even at that height (as long as you didn't adjust the collars much).

And the upside down bumps should ever get used with the spring rates.

The rates are great actually. The thing is I might raise it up a bit. I can tell its not bottoming out though which is a weird sensation. After all these years of riding low B13/14s its hard to not flinch every time I see a pothole bigger than a coffee cup. I'm used to test driving SE-Rs this low and not buying them. Its like a regular car.

Its pretty low though. Those are the old style Azenis 195/55/14 tires and they are pretty meaty almost like a 205. Still I can't even get my pinky in the back so its probably going to rub there. The fronts are like .25" gap maybe . B13s this low in my experience have been completely intolerable and constantly bottoming out on everything, blowing front shocks and CVs. etc.

So I might raise it but since its going to sit for awhile I'll leave it low for a month. Next up is brakes and putting back my 3" exhaust. Gotta order hardware and heim joints.

Here's a few shots of the rear bar I have. The bolt connecting the end of the sway to upper heim fell out on the driver side. I thought it felt like it was pushing more but I had chalked it up to the softish Hyperco rear spring. Anyway now I am going to totally rebuild those endlinks.

I just had to.

To make things perfectly clear to any newbs who want to "drop" their B13. Yo.

Benito, I am expectiing a full report on your new suspension impressions once you have everything sorted out.

You've had your butt in quite a few B13's with different performance suspensions. Your current suspension set-up being the best of all.

Will do Shawn. I've had my ass in a lot of cars and a fair amount had SR20s. Many years as a valet at a country club and steakhouse also delivered pizzas for ever. The last four years I've had a real job and rented just about everything.

Honestly the first impression is E36 M3. That's what jumps out at me as an analog for the handling. One of my favorite all time cars period.

The plates on the rear are solid shigspeed pieces with pillowball mounts. I don't think you need more camber adjustment in the B13 rear.

For the fronts I am eventually going to put the ground control camber plates. I like the ones you've made but they go under the strut tower and take suspension travel away. The GC pieces go ontop of it and add ~1/2" of travel.

I need to talk to Wes about running them on the top of the housing ... BTW i am designing a kit for the larger rear tires that will offset the mounting location on the ears and the mount. You will just grind off your ears, weld mine on and install my new tops and them run 225's
