Ya, the Raybestos model #s I got came w/the torque member. No pads though I think, but I'd probably replace them anyways.

Where does that leave you? You would do it to save yourself money. If you want to extrapolate it is stealing, it can be done easily. You are cheating the system. Its not really that difficult.

The rest of us just get it done, don't look back, and enjoy our cheap calipers.

No need to beat around the bush.

I agree with this this. You might actually get more money selling your breaks on the forums/ebay then you would with core price

hmm, I didn't know that the AD18's were worth anything. Ebay may be an option! I will have to consider that.

I just hope when I receive the calipers that they are AD22 and not AD18 due to all the AD18 returns in the past.

Cool, I'll have to keep this in mind.

I received the calipers and they ARE AD22VF w/torque members+clips. That was quick. Props for RockAuto on shipping it out to me really fast.

Now it's time to figure out if I should try sending the AD18's as cores for the $60 back or maybe sell the AD18's on ebay and try to get about $60. Decisions, decisions. Ebay would be safer, but the core return would be easier.

Can you post up some pictures? My current calipers say V22 on the front of them, I'm sure I have AD18's but wanted to make sure

Nobody should feel guilty for doing it. Your not ripping anyone off. The cores don't really matter. Whatever calipers you give them, they will rebuild them and resell them. Your still giving them a core worth value. It also doesn't matter if your old ones are painted, they will be stripped, cleaned, and rebuilt.
