Have you guys considered getting together and doing it yourselves? The materials cost is relatively low (as long as someone can weld) and it's actually a fairly simple procedure once you have the brackets in hand and see how it works.

So, with $135+ticket and hotel I figured anywhere from $200+ each from 6 people. That and we still need a garage. Catch is you need at least six people in an area that WILL do this and not back out and waste Steve's time. The last few parties have been crashed because people haven't gotten thier $hit together with money or a day that works for them or Steve. If I have to call up my dad and have him take my car to have it done while I was at work I will just to have this done. People need to realize that they need to work with Steve, not themselves on this.

IMO, the best bet to have it happen is to collect the 6 people's money + ticket price (say $185 each), send it to steve and have him look at what days he could come out. Then have the guys pick whats best for them amognst the days Steve picked. Then work from there. If more people join in, great. The original 6 get some money back. If not, well at least 6 lucky bastards get this done.

Assuming he gets like 6-10 people, that's a good amount of money, around $1000-1500 in a day, I'd stay at some crappy motel, hell, I'd sleep in my car.

How many b14's are you talking about? I only know of 1 or 2 around here that would be willing to do this, but if you can get enough people then I will be down. I'll drive to Harlingen (I believe that's the closest city to the Mexico border with an airport)

If we're talking Harlingen, I'll be in & know a guy living at Brownsville border, Almost sure a guy living at Mex City will drive north & maybe we could get 2 or 3 more, I don't know if a Tsubame YD10 will be bended, if so, there's a guy that could drive there.

If south texans seriously want to do this, count on us, aprox 2 or 3 guys.

Anything b14 has a rear beam. Unless it was modified in some other way.
