so figured out its nothing to do with the sway bar and fuel neck....still lost as to what the metal sound is....it sounds like someone ripped the threads out of a tight hole...thats the best discription i can give of the noise, and now it only does it when i hit bumps...but i think im about to tear it apart, if anyone has any ideas as to what it may be let me know thanks....

You sir, have a lot more problems than a "clunk."

You have three (3) inches of travel with your stock OEM suspension.

With your new Megan Racing springs, you now have 1.25-inches of travel in the front, and 1-inch of travel in the rear. Equal to or less than 1/3 of your OEM travel.

You are riding on your bumpstops the minute you sit your ass in your drivers seat, while still in the driveway.

Your GR2's are now being overly stressed and punished. They will die an ugly and premature death.

The extreme lowering on the sh*tty, poorly engineered, Megan springs is now f*cking up your entire suspension geometry and putting excessive stress on the rest of your suspension, which will now fail prematurely.

I would suggest that you go back to your OEM springs. They will out-perform those moronically designed Megan springs in any and all performance criteria. Further, the OEM springs will not kill your Gr2's and the rest of your suspension components.

In the future, might I suggest that you do more reSearch and investigation before you completely waste your money on sh*tty parts?

With a little reSearch, you would not have made this mistake. You could have saved some more money and bought Hyperco or Road Magnet springs from our Group Buy Section.

As it is, I am afraid you have pissed away your money sir.

Best of luck to you.

I'm pretty sure you need to continue to torque the strut nut of each strut down some more.

Open your hood. Jump up and down on the bumper. I'll bet you can see the strut "jiggling" in the top hat.

Shawn's thread is great knowledge, but if nothing else... if this is your first hands-on experience with suspension stuff, consider it a learning experience.

What the f*ck are you talking about?

I stated the facts. Nothing more. Did you want it sugar-coated?

The minute I decide to actually get nasty with you, you'll know it for sure. There will be no doubt whatsoever.

And right now, you sir are already pushing the issue with your ungrateful, smart-ass, mouthy, pity-party reply.

You're welcome.

Smell that smoke? It's a BBQ pit. You'd best check your attitude right f*cking quick newb.

Your words you ungrateful child, not mine. I never even inferred such a thing.

You made a piss-poor decision to purchase those Megan Racing springs. Period.

If that makes you a "dumbass" in your mind, fine. Think of yourself as a dumbass, I could care less.

I pointed out that you made a mistake, everyone makes mistakes.

Well now, that is all politically correct, friendly, tactful, and full of social graces.

Allow me translate it for you Lunchbox, llprad1 is stating "You made a hundred dollar mistake with your springs. It is not the end of the world, you can learn from your mistake."

Did he call you a dumbass? Nope. Did I call you a dumbass? Nope. Both of us stated the same thing, you made a mistake. However, I was NICE ENOUGH to explain to you WHY, and not only WHY, but provide you with an invaluable reference source and a LINK to educate you so that you do NOT repeat your mistake.

Which means that I am the most helpful motherf*ker to reply to your thread by a long and wide margin.

Defensive much? Can't stand hearing the truth? Have trouble admitting a mistake?

The clunk is the least of your issues.

Expect more clunks, rattles, and suspension parts wearing out and failing prematurely.

Those springs are absolute garbage, a travesty of sh*tty aftermarket design. They do not work right, will never work right, and are making your handling worse than OEM.
