O man... wait till you see the pics on how mine are set up the struts don't go half way through the pillow ball mounts. How do you guys stop the struts rod from spinning while installing the pillow ball mount? I don't want to damage the shocks gas seal.

What suspension do you have?

Do this. I used the top part right below the adjustment knob on my Tein SS and I held it with a 5 or 6 mm open wrench as i tightened the pillow ball mount.

I use tein basic coilovers. Do you guys think it's possible to tighten them on the car? If I have to remove them no big deal though. I just thought about it too, what if the previous owner stripped the threads on the shock rods I would be screwed huh?

Making an adapter wont be a problem , but I am staying with the bottom up design. I just dont like the looks of the gc's. Ill have some pics up in a new thread shortly, as Im building a set for my B14.

You mean making an adapter for the GC plates for a Cusco bar? I think even if you managed to get the bar to sit flush with the plates you might get clearance issues let alone with an adapter plate in between. Waddya mean you don't like the looks of them? Is that from a clean engine bay perspective? The slightly extra clutter is definitely made up for by the extra suspension travel; no? Bah, now I'm picking you apart. You do what you want, just make 'em sweet!

Not to be rude but I am trying to get my question answered here. Feel free to make another thread though.

Yes I am going to take some pics of mine soon. I'm surprised they held up this long and didn't break the shock rod.

Does anyone have a scan of the instructions because I swear there is a part installed that is not supposed to be there.
