45 or 50 Series Tyres on 16"? Nissan Pulsar
I currently have 195/55/15 tyres on my car - Factory wheels. Nissan Pulsar.

I am getting a set of 16" but they have 205/45/16 tyres on them. I would rather 205/50/16 cause I want some proection for the rim since I have to doge a few pot holes from time to time. Some peeps will say 45 series will look better. Maybe. But the 45 series on the 16" will actually make car lower when I do the math and less protection for the rim.

I was using 205/50/15 on my u13 before I sold which were quite fine. The Pulsar n15 VZ-R is a smaller car but wheels arches are quite big for the size car

Any suggestion?

Suggestions for what?

I think you should go with the 205/50/16 considering your preferences (they will fit, yes?).

I'm very fond of these tires for the street: Hankook Ventus R-S2

Sorry, what I meant was, you should go with the 50 series tire (which will have a bigger sidewall). It sounds to me like you could use it, and as far as looks/handling/etc. go, the bigger sidewall looks much better in my opinion, and it should perform just as well, if not better.
