I would do the same for you... so be patient,,, it will be worth the wait..

When I had mine powdercoated, we seperated the three pieces. That way nothing got on the threads of the center piece.

I had mine powdercoated wrinkle black. I think that stock blue paint is junk, so I wouldn't paint right over top. I used aircraft stripper, and it peeled off pretty quick. I separated the parts, and pulled the silver sticker off.

Mine isn't bling, but it "fits" with the dirty bay better: Click
