Thread: Koni thread count (is this enough?)

I did the front install with all hand tools, no impact guns. I did the method Steve recommended, a vicegrip over a 19mm socket and the allen key in the middle to keep the shaft from spinning until it stopped. Should I hit the nut with an impact gun to go down a little more or is the norm.

You need a spacer under a Koni Yellow when you are using it in a B13/14. Go to lowes and get a spacer or a couple nuts to use as spacers. All you need to do is take that nut off to see the threads do not extend far enough to actually tighten the shaft down. You spacer should be long enough to take up that dead space + a little more.
