Thread: optimum tire pressure for azenis?

I have a HPDE event this weekend and I'm not sure what I should run my tire pressures at. I have 205/40 15 Falken Azenis (RT-215) and running the hyperco/AGX, progress rear sway setup. Im running a T28 turbo, too so traction is a slight issue. I'm guessing maybe something like 35front/32 rear?

any input please.

I use 38/35 on the track with Azenis, but have not done any real testing with tread temperatures or anything. At these pressures, I'm definitely not rolling onto the side walls too much or anything. I could probably use less air, and you are in the right ball park at 35/32. Check your pressures after you run -- you'll probably need to pull some air because of heat build up on the track.

do you have a pyrometer dave?
