FYI the dust boots without the built in bump stops still come with bump stops, they are just removable.

I run/ran (I still have another set of HC/AGX) trimmed Konis. NPM recommended 40mm. I never even touched the bumpstops that I was aware of.

With the OEM dust boots, the front dust boots have removable bumpstops. Just a little tug and pull and they pop right out. The rear OEM dust boots have integrated bumpstops. They are not removable.

Therefore you get youself two (2) pair of front OEM dustboots and you can use the bumpstops as is, remove them and trim them, or give them away and use the Koni's. Which is what I did.

Nor did I trim my Koni's, and I am quite positive they are the 60mm ones. The Koni bumpstops offer progressive resistance. They become harder to compress, the more you compress them. Effectively becoming part of the spring when you run out of travel. I have never run into any negative situation by not trimming the bumpstops. Nor will I trim my bumpstops when I go to CSK's (Hyperco Gen II).

I drive my vehicle at a brisk pace over Houstons bombed-out roads. Nor do I slow down much for anything but a serious "tire destroying" obstacle. I have bottomed out the vehicle on very rare occassion, much less occassionly than with the stock suspension. Even then, the impact is not nearly as harsh as bottoming out the stock suspension. Not even close.

FWIW, Mike K swears by the Koni bumpstops over any other brand. There is a thread within the Suspension Thread where he discusses why.

I know and I sold them because I didn't know I was going to be lucky enough to find both road magnets and hypercos and I didn't wanna waste a good pair of Konis in some GR2s and eaibach pro-kits.

Regarding the OEM bumpstops:

OEM boots I have are the integrated ones both front and rear. The boot and the bumpstop are 1 piece and the only way out is to cut them from the boot. I did measure them and they are 2 1/4 inch tall and they are the rubber material not the foamy ones.

I did leave them "as-is" for now in both cars.

Both Front and rear look like this:

Lame. Cut them out and just rock konis. If that's not an option, I'd say you absolutely should cut those. I'd cut them off the dust boot and then remove maybe the middle section. *shrug*

That is weird as hell.

I know for a fact that (at one time?) the fronts should be (are?) removable. I bought mine from GregV when he worked at the Nissan dealer. No doubt nor question in my mind. Maybe Nissan changed the specifications on their dustboots?

Yeah they can't be removed and they are pretty stiff.

This is weird.. It looks like they remolded them for some reason..

FYI.. I went with 40mm Koni myself and got them directly from Koni. And previously noted from NPM.. I just 1/2" off of mine and haven't hit on them yet with my RM's.

Here are some pics. If you need the part number let me know.

I also bored out the center for a little more freedom to travel.

The front dust boots are still available and have removable bump stops. MR. 200SX just got two sets of rear dust boots for each car.
