Have you guys thoguht of running an S13 silvia front strut with Koni insert or the like?

The Silvia front strut is shorter. and a lot of full on Pulsar Circuit guys in japan use this combo. I know some the VZR N1 racae cars used these. From time to time used setups likes this pop up for sale on yahoo japan auctions.

Coach, why has there never been a b13 Bilstein? I mean they could open up a market and literally kill KYB is they made a shorter than factory B13/14 strut. Like 1" more of travel and they would clean up.

Not sure man, it is something I can bring up. I think the main issue is we don't have a factory replacement for B13/B14. We would have to use inserts and use our own housings like we do with Koni.

Brent, do you know anything about sourcing a replacement insert for the Shockteks? I have a set of the Phase II struts and they still had the chrome flake off and ruin the seals. I'd love to use those for road racing as they were super strong and handled really well. I've been trying to find out if there is anything like that in size (40mm inverted) that is not a custom application-maybe the Golf rally set up or something. I can shoot you extended and collapsed dimensions and you can see what's out there that might slot in without major modifications to the housings.
