control arms
i am resurecting my control arm build

i finally got someone to do some testing and they are working well. it looks like i may be able to save these from the scrap pile. there was a failure when first testing was done but i was never able to an in depth analysis. we added some modifications and they have been performing well through aggressive street and track testing.

we need to some more testing and measurements and i hope to have these available soon.

stay tuned.....

hmm..... your bumpsteer kits would pair up quite nicely with these control arms.

I need a set of these too. I know another vendor is making a set of control arms and I will probably end up buying both. However I wonder if you can tell us how you are making yours and with what materials. I would be excited for spherical bushings and lightweight, basically a track oriented part.

here is the initial thread

control arms - SR20 Forum

we had some issues with the design and are trying to rework them. so far through 4 trackdays and about 2 months of daily driving they are working well.

i have 4 sets that will be available when i am satisfied with the testing.

they are built of mild steel and use an adjustable ball joint. they require using a bumpsteer kit as well. these are completely bolt in.

these things are ugly but so far have shown promise.

i have another design of adjustable control arms i am waiting to get back to do additional testing on.

thanks

Excellent I was planning on purchasing one of your bump steer kits anyways. Just keep me in the loop and let me know once testing is completed.
