Jerimiah---expand your know in two places history and location (99.9999149% sure houdini IS in the same spot!!!!)

He was on sr20forum i believe, and I have met him personally on more than a few occasions, and I'm pretty sure that he has had some national exposure with his know how with what he does. People that don't personally know him probably brush him off but when us locals saw him in nissan sport mag mad props were given. I'm in no way defending him because I had problems with him too (which I wont discuss). but the point you made is rather irrelevant if you are into the nissan scene in Utah. I really hope everything can be set straight for everyone that has lost something. My dispute was settled by pure luck honestly

Pretty sure he was on there also, he isn't new by any means.

There is no doubt that he got himself a little reputation (so I didn't "brush" him off), and I even bought into it and sent my stuff to him to get work done. But not being blind and looking at the work... I can (and have) get better quality work for half the price in one week turn at Oreilly Auto Parts versus the 2-3month wait I had with him....

He has been on the sr20forum from a long time, and was there(and on this forum) up until the time he stop contacting me and i believe erybody else.
in all honesty i would not have sent my stuff or bought anything from him if i didnt research him, i had actually dealt with him in the past.
i have also inquired about him from people who have been in the sr20 seen for a while...they know him.

it would seem that this is becoming truer everyday! there are other legal avenues i can pursue....

Yes, he has been on the other forum for a while also, and there are tons of people that rave about him, being a "guru". My ****ing ass. He takes credit for all of the machine work and makes everyone think he does all the work, yet when you inquire about your parts, he says that he has to go check with the guys at the machine shop

Nobody has just blindly chosen him for machine work, there are alot of good reviews. The ****ty part about it is that I know for a fact that there are just about as many bad reviews as good. All of these ****ing pussies are too scared to talk bad about him and let everyone know about their bad experiences, so then the next person turns around and only sees these good reviews and end up getting ****ed over just like the cowards that are so afraid of the comments if they bad mouth him.

He's not in Utah, so like I said before, you're barking up the wrong tree. I wouldn't have any problem driving to someones house and taxing their ass for ripping people off. Ive been ripped off before, I know how mad it makes you. But Tom sold his house, sold off his equipment, motors, etc, and he left Utah. He wouldn't tell anyone where he was going. I personally like the guy, never had a problem with him, thats why it surprises me he ripped so many people off towards the end of his presence here in Utah.

But you can do one of 2 things:

a) Do something about it, file fraud, go find him, whatever you gotta do

or

b) Cut your losses and just pray you see the mother ****er in person some day.

Bitching about it day in and day out isnt gonna get you any of your **** back.

wow ...is it a sure thing that he sold all his belongings and moved?
how long ago was it that he did this?
so i am assuming you knew where he live/d... this was a masterful con if it indeed is.. everything going good and then one day...GONE!

Dude you are quoting the wrong person or you need to get your info straight.

I got my stuff back right before he ran luckily for me. I contacted SEVERAL LOCALS, I POSTED in YOUR local forum... NOBODY HELPED. He WAS in town when I asked for help and you BS locals just said "just wait... he is a good guy".

He is a POS end of story. I have talked to him and that is what he is.
