You can buy them either way. Spring alone or with retainers and vice versa.

123lb springs are too stiff in my opinion and from what Ive seen for any setup. The create premature rocker pad wear. 93lb duals will be more than enough. Stock VE valves depending if its NA or Turbo. N/A around 8500 turbo 7500. Exhaust valves are a sure thing to go.
