They don't do that at other SCCA events? The cones are setup different every event.

Of all the events I've attended, including the Nat. Tours, you get to walk the course prior. That's it. Or, is that what you're referring to as a parade lap?

Well it would be the same essentially. You get to drive it but you are following eachother and going like 5mph. They do it to save time so that everyone can see it and then they can start. Walking takes too long lol.

Heres a vid my buddy took. Most of the footage is of him in his Impulse. But he did get one of my runs on tape. Its at the 25 second mark of the vid. I usually autocross an SRT-4 ACR in D stock, but this particular event is the first of the season and non-points event, and I wasnted to see how my bone stock NX would do on its 185, 14inch all season tires. Still came in like 3rd out of 10 in STS class no less LoL!! The two people who beat me were a married couple, one a past SCCA national champion and the other has placed as high as 5 at nationals(in different classes)--and they were running on shaved Bridgestone RE01-Rs. Twas a fun day...
