Were the B14 and B15 ever considered to be put into FSP? I want to know if there is any chance I could run my B13 with a RR SR20 in FSP.

The would have to be on the same line of the rulebook, but I doubt that will happen.

It would have to read something like:

"Sentra/200SX 2.0L ('91+)"

For the most part, the Street Prepared listings separate the chassis.

I have sent the same thing you wrote, Jim, to the SEB five times...as I read all the latest fastrack news there is NO discussion whatsoever noted about this topic. The SEB guy I e-mailed told me it would be discussed way back in...I dunno...like February or earlier. you know anything about whats up? My hoosiers are awaiting the change!

well nothing will happen this year because the rule books are already set so at best the move will happen at the end of the year and go into effect for 2010

Letter-writing works!

July FasTrack:

Street Prepared, Errors and Omissions: Per an overlooked change passed late in 2008, correct certain DSP and FSP listings as
follows:

Delete the following listings:
DSP
Sentra SE-R & NX2000 ('91+)
FSP
NX2000
Sentra 1.6L ('91+)
Sentra & SE-R ('91-'94)

Add the following listing:
FSP
Nissan Pulsar, NX2000, Sentra, & SE-R ('91-'94) all

I don't think they intended to put the Pulsar on the same line as the B13. One of those tiny little '83-'86 Pulsar NX two-seater coupes with a SR20 would be brutal.

They probably meant the NX1600. But it should still be clarified.

I guess I can take the wing off my car. And no fog lights is legal now.

I just sent the SEB a letter about excluding the NX1600 on that line. All the people in the world worried about that probably read this thread, but still. I basically told them how to word it without messing up, and they still did!

Aside: N11 Pulsar with a SR20 would be awesome, though.

No wing, no centerpiece taillights. Some concessions to weight I can't make.

I forgot about the Sentra E trunklid in my shed. I wonder if it's just a matter of removing the centerpiece tail lights or if I have to change the whole decklid. Not sure how that stuff is mounted on there -- just cover up holes or more to it?

And are brakes from a 1.6L car just a bolt-on to the SE-R spindle? I'm assuming they are smaller and lighter.
