Engine cutout after a hard downshift 2miles or so on SS1. We thought we blew the motor initially discovered the rotor and cap busted. Got flat towed to service, worked on it all day and decided the dizzy was bad. Bought a new one, cut off the wrong tab, got it welded and she finally fired and ran right. On day 2 restarted, ran 3 short stages times started improving. First run of the long stage got cancelled. Second run 1/4 mile in, the coil wire came off and shut the motor we ended up losing 4+minutes. Brought it back home in one piece and got some seat time.
