Yay, skidpad testing, ftw.

Dunno if I will take Teal car out to anything, the all-season tires on there will surely chunk nicely and I have no spare wheels. And I really prefer to get P10 back so I can oversteer and over correct into tire piles anyway

Bring the P10, we'll push you around the course.....lol

What's the hold up on the P10? Working on getting the motor together?

Headed out to spectate yesterday. Weather was iffy, so I decided not to register a few days prior. I'm glad I didn't, It never got out of the 30's! I lasted about an hour standing out in the windy cold. They had a decent turnout, considering. There was a shit ton of S2000's there. Most of those guys had the tops down...I guess it's a S2000 thing. There was a haggered looking S13 there. A few Miatas, Mini's, BMW's, Corvettes, go karts etc... and one of those new ATS Caddies, strange car to bring. Grip looked like it sucked monkey balls. Lots of spins and tank slappers going on. Afterward, I left I decided to check out the indoor karting track in Horsham. It was alright. A little too kid oriented to go on a regular basis for me, but I had fun.

I'm debating on whether to participate in the autox next Sun. Again it depends on weather and if I have the time to get the new suspension on.

Around here it isn't limited to Stooks.

Event earlier this year it was cold and sprinkling... I was the only person with a convertible that left their top UP. Several people asked me why I didn't put it down.

LOL, the S2000 guys had the tops down in the 30's?

Wow.

Are they required to have roll bars?

My B13 VVL is still in process of a lot of work so I haven't made it out yet, and I'm still looking for a good helmet. If you've been following THIS THREAD then you'll know whats up.

Looking up more helmets now.

Don't have to have a roll bar for AutoX. Only Evo drivers roll over.

I'm at a loss when I hear about people crashing out at an autox. With the exception of flipping a kart, I don't get it. So called enthusiasts can't control a car in the 30-50 mph range? How the hell are they getting by on the streets with way more speed and more variables/crap to hit?....scary.

Hell if I know... EVO on r-comps... Not sure how you can't control that. There has been a rash of accidents recently in this region (both track and autox). Lots of experienced drivers too. Most seem to be on r-comps.

Another thing is our speeds here are usually 40-60+mph.
