Go have fun. Don't worry about classification. If it's a FSP car, run FSP in almost-STC trim.
The Sad truth I was hoping not to hear. The 2012 rulebook made it sound like I was SI Free.
What REALLY blows my mind is that the NX2000 is now put up against the E Production cars ( Healey Sprites MG Midgets, and I think the AE86) Where as when I was autocrossing back in 03-05 I was building the car to eventually go in DSP.
I am trying to weigh my options of having the most stress free fun in Autocrossing. Either fixing up the NX as is and getting it reliably road worthy ( Basically a basic brake overhaul, tune up, and quiet the exhaust), and possibly making a full campaign of autocrossing the NX.. or I fix it up as is.. sell it and get into Karting. The price tag to get a used car and get started, as well as running what is now " Kart Modified" is VERY Tempting. My only concern with that is long term upkeep, being competitive, and if the 2 stroke will get axed, as I really like the idea of a 125cc shifter kart. I dont want a 4 stroke put put... Thanks for Chiming in Jim.. I'm interested in hearing more feedback. What class are you running these days?
