I've been using the same pair of Pilotis for 3 years now. They work great for driving, and the soles are just thick enough that you don't start dancing when stepping on pebbles in the paddock area.

They hold up pretty well to the elements too. I usually wear them for the full day when going racing, and that is usually once or twice a week for me during summer time.

The Sportsman's Guide currently has the Piloti DTM Mid and Spyder shoes on sale. Spyders for $39.97 and DTM Mids for $29.97.

I wear Puma Circats, and my wife wears Adidas/GoodYear racing shoes for autocrossing.

My Pumas do not have the zipper, though...just the laces..and my colors are reversed from this pic...red w/ grey trim. And the soles depict a race course on the bottom...different models have different tracks. Mine have Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on the bottom. I got mine at the Puma outlet store for 30 bucks.

Puma Future Cats in the suede material. The ones in regular leather need alot of breaking in and still not as comfy as the suede. Ive had 4 pairs in suede and 1 in hard leather. Great shoes for autocrossing just DONT walk for a long time in them. lol

Since I'm hardly a collector, I don't have a pair for every car, not that baller But I do find that my Nike Air Force One's do nicely in the Z.

Damn, my pairs are color-matched and purpose-specific for every car

I don't know how you manage...

I scored a pair of Piloti Prototipo's and Piloti Spyder SV's for $29.97 a pair on that sale, pays to shop. I had a code for discount, so both pairs were $65 total. I already have a set of black/grey DTM's but they only go with my SE-R, so I needed a different style for my other car - I don't want to end up like FORZWIN and have the wrong shoes for the wrong car, and take a hit on my baller rep

Wth they keep pretty well in the boxes
