That's interesting, I've never heard of a plastic skid plate before. How thick is it and how did you attach it?

Shoot, I have to take a pic of it this weekend..I've been meaning too forever.

Its 1/8" (I think) Polyethylene. The same stuff cutting boards are made of. In the pics I'll show how its attached...
