Dissapointing dyno
Car was fiddled and dyno'd today....
The cam gears were at 0 0, this is where I felt, plus read the reason the car wasn't as fast as it 'should' be...He dyno'd the car first..which gave 136whp, then set the gears to +2.5 -2.5 as I've read around that is the best, then back on the rollers which put down a massive 120whp...with any more advance there were clearance issues.
2 things though, He said the mapping is all over the place( the gasket did give up shortly after which could of affected it whilst it was being mapped) and for some reason the graph cuts off at 6k but it's still climbing...But I don't know if that's just the graph or what. The car is still at a 7krpm limit.
Mods are..
BC stage 3's
JWT cam gears
BC valves, springs+retainers
SR16 pistons
SSA header, 2.25" cat back
CAI
Engine is a UKDM lowport converted to non-RR
Any help/idea's/info much appreciated
