DIY Intake system
I got my hands on a Stillen Pop-charger and swapped the intake setup the car had from a previous owner.

Being that this is somewhat of a low/minimal budget car as it currently is my daily I am trying to improvise with what I have. I haven't taken a look yet but figured this might be helpful for others since the Search feature is....well you already know lol.

This is basically what I'm left over with after installing the Popcharger.

Before:

After:

The car is currently setup with a JDM Intake manifold (to eliminate the yucky EGR system) I noticed the stock rubber section between the maf and throttle body has 1 small hose which I believe goes to the intake manifold, 3 larger ports (1 is blocked/capped off and don't know where it lead to originally, another which leads to the valve cover and a 3nd which I couldn't look further into but seemed to go on the lower section of the throttle body or intake manifold)

Can any of them be blocked off? I'd like to thread some brass style fittings into the left over section from the old intake system since its made of metal and would probably work or look better than the stock intake pipe.

Thanks as usual for any other tips and ideas.

I believe you'll want to keep the three ports/nipples between the MAF and the throttle body. Otherwise, you'll be revising other things in the PCV and idle/vacuum systems.
The biggest hole in the OE rubber pipe, and probably the one already capped, went to a baffle-box that damped sound and served no performance purpose.

FanofNissan-

Thanks for your response. I found someone selling the intake pipe I was looking to replace lol

Paid $10 for it and got it a few days ago. I’m going to clean it up and either paint it wrinkle black or just something to prevent rusting and wrap it with heat reflecting tape (because racecar lol)
