From your first post is says your cams are on TDC right now. I'd suggest advancing your intake a few degrees and retarding the exhaust cam simultaneously. I've seen many cammed motors run poor because of bad cam timing.

Also, the tuning will hurt you a lot. If you want to get a cable and software for your Dastek then pm me - I can arrange it for you and it's not expensive at all. They're pretty local to me. I'll even mail it to you if that's what you need. Cause you should be able to adjust your fuel and timing with it, then you can remove the superchip too.

Thanks Ben, i thought i was right to worry about the result of the dyno.

Doctor G, if i had a Dastek piggyback fitted i would absolutely snap that up.
It's a spectacular offer and many many thanks for it, but unfortunately i don't have one in the car. I think many people in the UK would pay good money for the cable and software though! The price they're selling the Dastek Unichip Q at now (from £464 = over $900 !!!) there's got to be way better options out there.
Cam timing is TDC so definitely will be playing around with it when i rebuild the engine again after moving.

Thanks guys

cool. The offer stands if anyone needs it.

A lot of good value for money piggyback systems and EMS are developed locally here and are sold all over the world. The exchange rate makes it EXTREMELY affordable for intl. folks.

A pretty decent full EMS system with wiring harness, cable, software etc starts from around the 150 pound (UK) mark - I kid you not. The top of the range stuff can be had for about 370 pounds. Perfect Power, Gotech etc.

Dang, thanks for the heads up on those!
I'm going to be leaving the UK shortly but if i meet anyone with a Dastek i'll let them know

Interested to see how yours comes out, i'd expect you to do a hell of a lot better than me to be honest. Check out the weak 11.1mm lift in my first post with the spec.

^Can you run other cams?
