Current Setup vs. Future Setup Comparison
Hey Guys and Girls,
Looking for an ESTIMATE of what I am making now vs what I SHOULD be making with the new setup. This will be going into a 2001 G20t daily driver, so noise and comfort considerations (AC and Power Steering) are a must. Car just needs a little more oomph. Passing power, if you will. No drags/auto-x/racing planned.
Current Setup:
- Non-RR Lowport
- Stock RR ECU and MAF
- Stock RR injectors (259cc)
- Stock Lowport Cams (intake and exhaust)
- RR Intake Mani
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump w/ stock FPR
- SSAC w/ 2.5" collector
- WAI
- Stock Cat
- Stock Catback
Also, to note:
- P11 70V Trans
- Stock Non-RR Flywheel
- Stock Non-RR Crank Pulley
Future Setup:
- RR Lowport
- 99 SE-L ECU and MAF (upgrading to 96 P10 ECU after I install VE Dual Valve Springs/Retainers/Seats)
- Stock Lowport Injectors (259cc)
- JWT S3R Cams
- P10 Intake Mani
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump w/ Tomei AFPR
- SSAC w/ 2.5" collector
- WAI
- Stock Cat
- MES 2.5" catback (22" Magnaflow resonator and Vibrant muffler)
Also, to note:
- B15 70V Trans
- SR16VE Flywheel
- GSpec Lightweight Crank Pulley
DISCLAIMER: Neither setup will be tuned as far as I can see. Best case, my current JWT ECU makes its way over to the P11...much later.
Now I know there will be a nice jump in HP and torque from my current setup. How much? That I am not sure. That's where I am looking from expertise for you folks.
What do you guys think I should be getting with each of my setups? My best guesses (based on forum research) are as follows:
Current: 120whp, 110wtq
Future: 145whp, 125wtq
Does that sound about right? LMK what you guys think!
