Thread: My high CR build

I had one, it measured 2.5"

I guess it is then. I bought it from slowboyracing and they had it advertised as 2.25". Thats cool. One less thing I need to get !

a friend of mine had that exhaust. parts of it, most of it is 2.5 but it necked down to 2.25 at the axle back flange....

My old 2.5 exhaust, though made by my local exhaust shop, was 2.5 even through there. Plenty of room so I don't see why they would bother making it smaller.

I'll have to check this weekend to see if it restricts down to 2.25"

they didnt make it smaller for clearence. i have 3in all the way just fine.......
for whatever reason they neck it down at the flange on the axle back, but then it comes back out to 2.5, with was on a b14 but still...pretty stupid move, they might as well just made it all 2.25

I guess thats why mine was advertised as 2.25" I know they didn't make it smaller for clearance. It has more then enough room. I'll find out next time I have her up in the air.

Ok I see you guys saying they didn't do it for clearance, but if it goes down and then back up to 2.5 what other excuse could there be?

Go 3" all the way to the muffler....
