As long as the alignment goes fine, and there is no reason to take it out, I think that I'd rather not have to mess with that thing again. I will find out later this week when I finally have a chance to drive it and feel how the steering feels. As long as the joint feels fine I will just give you the new one.

Let it run for 30 mins, change the oil and filter, then drive nice and easy for the first 500 miles (keeping it under 5000 RPM), then change the oil and filter.
After that go balls to the wall.

Does anyone have any better suggestions for break in?
Here is what I am going to do.
1. Let the engine run for ~30 mins and warm up
2. Change oil and filter
3. Accel to 30 mph and then decel to 10 mph with car in gear 10 times (supposedly seats the rings better)
4. Keep the revs under 5000 rpm for ~500 miles
5. Change oil and filter
6. after that drive it like I normally do, and change the oil and filter @ 2000 miles, then @ 3500 miles do an oil/filter change and switch to a full synthetic.
