forgot to add, A big thank you to Sambo (my coworker), matt (saggedsentra) and his brother, and Aaron (fatboy_9) for making the swap go superfast, and keeping me company.

1.5 hours to get the motor out, a few hours to switch everything over, then 2 or 3 hours to get the motor back in and everything hooked up! Superfast swap, just spread over a couple weekends.

rob and keo.

im going to be needing alittle aid soon. i am going to be hopefully buying the blown DE sitting at jens shop and i want to re-built it.

looking for a basic rebuild + hot tanking the engine and decking the block/head, sr16 pistons.

i have never broken into an engine before so if you 2 could give me some assitance that would be super. for a gasket kit, i can use the VE gasket set correct? either one of you call me up if your free some time. i have alot of ideas, but dont want to go over board....i want a OEM freash engine with alittle more umf

nope, the intake gaskets are different. the headgasket, V/C gascket, crank seal and rear main are the same. I think that's about it.

cool Rob, did the Manual rack work for you?

yes, I have your rack. I will have to get it back to you sometime this week hopefully. The joint was a little banged up and hard to get on, but I got it .

you can swap it out and give the old one back, I'll be okay with that. I couldn't get it out so I gave the whole thing.
