Thread: My high CR build

A Lot of people have said working on a DE is a waste of time, but I always thought that logic was wrong because to get a ve to 200whp is probably gonna be between 2000-2500 bucks including the price of buying the motor. VE is where the max power will be but for regular Joes. DE's do well enough. Next to be seen is how much power you can get from s4 cams. A super low budget setup. If I ever get my money right I'll have to see for myself.

The BC cams are the super low budget set up . Even with the s&R kit, they are still less then the JWT cams. They seem to be working pretty well when paired with some adjustable cam gears.
I am redynoing this weekend with my cam gears on +3 -3 and the SSAC header on. I will try and have a video up later tonight of the first dyno.

Great numbers, for a base run. Good luck on with the fine tuning.

dont mean to jack the thread but ive been wathing this for a while and just want to spill my setup out here.
11.0, c3 cams, z32 maf, intake spacers, 4 piece under drive, lightweight flywheel, fujitsubo header 2.5 in exhaust, calum ecu.

i cant wait to get on the dyno and then compair dyno charts.

I am redynoing tomorrow with my +3, -3 cam gear settings!
My stupid SSAC header still isn't here I just recieved an email back from the seller stating that it won't ship till tuesday. That sucks, but oh well I'm more worried about seeing the effects of the cam gear changes.

I also have an SAFC on the way too! I finally found one at the right price. Will report more tomorrow afternoon!

wait...you dyno'd 175 useing a 2inch secondary dumping into a 3 inch exhaust!?!?!?!?!?! dude come to the shop and grab my 2.5inch secondary before your dyno. then give me yours when it comes in.

CARE BEAR!!!!!!!!!! i would say you will be very very close to robs setup.

rob has higher compression, but your full intake spacers and larger c3 cams will offset that. however im intrested to see if the 3inch exhaust or the 2.5 is better.

I am gonna try and get that secondary from you soon. That isn't ceramic coated, right? just the primary is.
I am gonna dyno as is today, and then with the 2.5" secondary next week because I am going to have to go back anyways because in a week or so because I just bought an SAFC too.

Mine is also collecting dust, we can swap if you want, its still in the box.

where are you located again naghebe? I might take you up on that.
