Sounds like you've found the culprit.

On a side note, checking the fuel pump is pretty easy...supposed to have 0.7 ohms across 2 pins (2&3 iirc) although I've only confirmed a complete failure.
@jimbo_se-r do you recall if you checked this, just wondering?

We didn't check, we just threw another fuel pump in, problem went away, chucked the old pump. The race was on, we had no time to coddle weak parts.

The distributor rotor not spinning properly would certainly have caused a similar issue, good chance that will resolve the issue here.

Started it and it started right up idled about 1500 for about 5 minutes then when back to the same crappy idle. Plugged the tps back in, started the car and it never got above 500rpm stubbled and then died. Checked tps voltage and it checked good

Thats a video of the crap idle

Let me rephrase that. A crap video of the crap idle. If you listen real close you can hear the surge in the idle

That's not the smoothest idle I've ever heard, but I'm not sure the idle behavior alone is enough to be cause for alarm.

Ok. Any Idea about the TPS issue

No, sorry, I'm not familiar with that kind of failure.
If the engine runs better without the TPS plugged in, I'd guess that is because the ECU is running in some type of limp mode? Once you plug in the TPS, the ECU goes back to normal, closed-loop operation which is borked for other reasons? O2 sensor and MAF are the other main items to consider regarding closed-loop operation...

Could it be related to my possiably bad o2 sensor

The O2 sensor is usually ignored for the first ~30 seconds during a cold start, so it could cause the issues, but probably only if these were warm starts that were failing...
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure I'm being helpful...
