Stock 91-92 SE-R will pretty much smoke a stock 95-97 SE-R. Of course we know the differences between the intake cam and the weights. But wow, for me going from my 91 SE-R to a 97 SE-R it was like another car. The '97 felt like it had no balls at all. Classic was so much stronger. I think with bolt-on modifications, especially some bigger cams this difference gets smaller and smaller though.
