Same reason why I want to do 54C stuff and why I think other folks should not discount a 54C cylinder head, Because the 54C outflows the highport and lowport engines and he also tells us that a worked 54C head can outflow a stock VE head. Lots of good info there.
Also, the highport intake manifold is better for higher RPM running. I could tell the difference the first drive i had in a highport SR20 vs my standard of lowport SR20 for a decade. (even with the same intake cam "bump")
