We just have to see how much of that we'll need/want.....

Btw... I'm currently assembling the lowport SR20 head from a few weeks ago. It came back from the machine shop nice and clean. I cleaned, and de-carboned the valves... and began lapping them into their seats.

As far as if this client should have gotten a 3 angle, I told him his options, and because he doesn't want to drop a lot of green... I lapped the valves into their seats. As you can see, the far left view shows the "rough" valve and seat, the middle shows most of the two surfaces refinished, and the far right view shows a lapped exhaust seat.

More to come.....

I reckon paying customers took over for a bit. I am sure we will be updated eventually.

sorry... but paying work does take precedence.... a few eye candy shots of the Toyota Supra 5MG head....

exhaust port....

intake port....

As to lowport work.... I found much less work needs to be done to improve things on the intake side... the short radius still needs blending, but overall the valve seat fits the bowl better. The exhaust side.... it is still totally stock as it was in the highport, so the exhaust work I intended to do on this SR20 head should cross over to the lowport head as well......

With any luck I expect to get back to the SR20 head in the next few weeks......
