Cams. Stock vs Aftermarket
Gotta a question for anyone who can answer it. Im looking to step up to stage 2 cams on my sr20de to get a little more power out of it. Is there anything else id have to upgrade while stepping up to the stage 2. Current upgrades to car period are, Stainless steel headers, full 3in exaust from headers back, Walbro fuel pump, and stage 2 clutch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cam'd DE is a great daily setup.

You need a deep pocket if u want more power out of a DE n/a.

Yea it would be wise to change the springs and retainers abd if you do that if you have the extra money and time change the valve seals

Go with some JWT S4s and thats it, no springs or retainers needed.

I jus want a lil more power out of it. Was boosted before by previous owner. But I don't have extra cash to turbo it again. Dont wanna modify it too much either cause its my DD for now. Jus want it running Mid 13s- low 14s.

Are u refering to Brian Crower stage 2 cams? They are Good drop-in cams for the price.

I would add a underdrive pulley set, and set timing to 15 after the cam install, 150+ whp.

I hadn't figured out what I was gonna go with yet. Was looking for some that I wouldn't have to do much more than just drop em in. As I said before. I dont have a lotta extra cash.
