I confirmed the head gasket was the standard head gasket that came on the SR20, I asked the seller

I had zero problems with clearance. The biggest pain in the arse with the C cam install is keeping the valves from falling and you need the compressed air w/ hose in the motor -

The C cams, along with a JWT ECU, header, intake, and exhaust, made a new type of GROWL. I really liked it. It sounded awesome. I have some videos somewhere of the car @ WOT showing the tach, will see if I can find them and post them here. Again this was on my 10:1 motor, damn I miss that car

BTW this is what it looked like in the end. The motor/trans were good but the car was done. I put it in spoiler tags for B13 fans who are faint of heart

Found the vid!

This was from 1st to top of 2nd gear I believe. It sounded much deeper/throatier in person.

Do you have dyno numbers and 1/4mile run with that setup?

Unfortunately no, as the vehicle was taken out by a skunk/cat/raccoon and thus a tree before I could get around to it, but it pulled hard. With the C cams on the DE it was like 1/2 a VE if that makes sense. It didn't have the sudden change, but it was quick. Though def loss of power down low, as you can hear in the vid of the tach it kinda takes a second to get up to speed.

Great, thanks for confirming that Jordan
Moved way past this idea know due to turbo VE and whatnot, but it's good to add to the memory bank nonetheless.

The JDM SR20 with the C cams really felt like a mini-VE though!! At the time I'd guess it was putting down 155-160WHP with all the bolt-ons and the C-cams/springs
