Thread: Stock Piston and aftermarket rings

Hey Guys I'm thinking of replacing the Rings on my DET pistons. However can I use a aftermarket brand such as CP or Weisco? or are those rings tailored to their specific pistons.

Would DET OEM piston rings be the safest bet? I'm just looking for longevity and figured I ask the all motor Experts! Thanks for your input!

Call Hastings there the absolute best! Hastings Piston Rings...Since 1915 I bought custom made rings for my sr16ve n1 pistons there great! Chromemolly coated too.
