Looks like a piece of shit to be honest but anything is better than the stock header.

The header in post #1 is hit or miss. I just went through this with an eBay header and now I'm trying to sell it. THEY DO NOT FIT like the original SSAC headers. I've had two of those in the past. Expensive mistake I'm having to pay for as I had the header jet coated before test fitting it. I'm having to drill the holes on the top primary larger with a 1/2 drill bit for wiggle room. It does not line up. I spoke to Vadim about this last night and that's the only reason I'm posting is to stop someone from make the same mistake. The SSAC header is going to be about $240 shipped, but I might get a discount as I spoke with a SSAC rep. STAY AWAY FROM EBAY knockoff SSAC HEADERS.

It should work exactly like an SSAC, except I've heard some complaints about eBay headers cracking welds lately (come full circle back to hotshot hey?)

^SSAC is still around. I sent them an email yesterday.

^I'm thinking it can be fixed with some handy craftsman work, but I'm not really interested in doing so. I'll try to fix it this weekend, but if it doesn't stop the leaks, I'm done with it. #Hiatus.

LOL at the "knockoff" of an SSAC header. And unless my eyes deceive me, the header in post 1 also looks like it comes prerusted around some of the welds

^I didn't join the OG sr20forum until 2005. I assume that the original SSAC header is a knockoff from another hearder, but I wasn't really around for that. So all the eBay headers I see in my eyes are knockoffs of that. I do recall helping on organizing that group buy with the 2.5" secondary pipe they started making for guys wanting their motors to breath better. Never once did I hear people complaining about fitment, price, or the cheap notebook ruled paper gaskets that eBay currently offers.

^And here is the jumpoff thread. I'm sure most may remember FarmBoss putting in that work.

Yes, SSAC copied Hotshot's design. Hotshot did the R&D, but eventually went out of business in no small part due to companies like SSAC stealing their designs and farming the work out to China. And now we only have even cheaper copies of Hotshot's original work or $1000 custom pieces.

End mini rant

You know it's bad when the knock off companies are getting knocked off...lol.

On a side note that o2 bung on the secondary pipe lines up perfectly with the shifter stabilizer rod. Excellent placement...not....bunch of yoyo manufacturers....

Like the Fuji header ! Fitment and the way it is made is just top draw, and the sound it creates it just so deep sounding.

The header the op is asking about is just a everyday ebay header, yep you see a little gain, fitment will be shit,it will rust,it will go at the section on the downpipe, yep it might crack on the manifold.
