Thread: 5.1 final drive anyone?

I figured. Oh well. I really would like to get my hands on some straight cut gears.

why are people afraid of goin 5.1? you dont see this as a improvement

I know people who avoided the 4.7 due to 5th gear. A lot of guys would go crazy with the 5.1. 60mph would be like 4K. Lol.

5.1 is too much for me lol cool idea though for high revving na guys

Yup, friend has 6.33 in his Gr. N Civic TypeR. You are shifting 4th at 60mph and 6th at 100mph. Its very fast and great for racing.

We used 5.1 in SR race cars with great results.

Why is this in every section, I go in including my forsale thread , and why aint the mods doing a dam thing about it? This isnt something that dramaticaly affects the performance of all our cars..

This mod dramaticaly affects our cars more than any other mod...

But i agree, its not neccesary to be all over the forum.

Doesn't come close to the extra power from a turbo or nitrous. I agree about the annoyance of it being everywhere though.
