Thread: tranny question

I don't know if it has happened to anyone else, but the lever that comes out of the tranny, which connects to the clutch cable cracked on me. does anyone know how to fix that without taking out the tranny?

IT is a common issue for trans levers that are over tightened. When yo uput the pedal all the way to the floor it can put extra stress on that lever. Many people unhook the clutch cable and a fabricator welds bar steel to the top of it after welding the lever. IT will fix the crack and then reinforce the lever so it doesn't happen again.

yep, happens to many people. just have a steel plate welded, it will strengthen it bigtime. good luck
