Thats cause the DET crank he has is the same as a fwd DE and hes using a VE block.

so everything should be direct bolt on and work fine if he is using a de oil pump.

Another Kiwi i Kan tell by the txt language. lol Carl doesn't know much about this conversion i already asked him. Reg is not exactly forthcoming on any info unless he has his finger in the pie and as im in Chch its not exactly easy to pop to Auc to see someone.

Its deff a P10/u13 oil pump as i only have fwd pumps no Gti-r or rear drive ones. I did end up one one odd pump with a bigger but narrower gear in it. This was the original pump housing i had planed with the block but the gears were no good and i couldn't find any others the same size to use. All the good cranks i had were 4 counter and we needed 8's. I pulled 4 blocks apart and all i got was cranks with either run bearings or cracks. got a GTti-r one and it was cracked too so gave up on that Got given the DET crank and it was immaculate so used that.

Try using a gtir crank pulley on it
