Compression test?

I'd call jwt and let them tell you the exact program for you ecu(numbers on the chip), sometimes the maf may need to be bored or not, personally my DE made 167whp with a G20 ecu(car felt more powerful with G20 ecu vs JWTb)and S4s and a few more thisngs.

Good luck

Dynomax mufflers suck.

G20 has more timing earlier than B13 or B14 and that is why you felt like the car was better than the JWT ECU. At least according to Clark.

Ok so Ben replied to my email and asked me to give him the exact numbers on the JWT ECU - then he he will check exactly what i have in their system. he also said to put the timing at 15.

Oh and I got a new suction cup camera mount and took a couple videos today at WOT of the car in action. Not that will help much but better than nothing. Will post a bit later.

1) Well I did mention, but the engine is a sludge monster. I took a video of it w/ the valve cover off, I'll post it, but its muchhhh better now than it was a year ago when I first got it.. when I first pulled the valve cover back then I was stunned. Pitch black, looked like it was doused in Hershey's syrup. After running a few Gunk motor flushes and Mobil-1 synthetic its gotten much better. That was one of the reasons I got new cams (the Tomeis)

2) There is a "baffle" or something broken inside of that piece of crap dynomax muffler that bangs around at low RPMS. Sounds like if you shook a quarter in a glass jar rapidly. I originally had a straight thru Magnaflow muffler but it was too loud and I got annoyed and switched. Could that be blocking shit up? I have no idea. *regret*

3) The car has almost 190k, and I bought it in fairly poor condition from a girl for real cheap.. I doubt she changed the oil.

4) Once again, the Tomei cams says on the boxes, 270 12.5 LA - and one of them came with a RWD cam sprocket which I just had to take off of course to run in my FWD motor. I've put 10k miles on them with no problems, except of course, possibly, this low power output.

The fact that power increased throughout the 4 runs is indeed interesting, as you would suspect it to be the other way around (heat-saturation of parts).

About the O2 codes, have you reset the ECU at all?

Also, a 2" DP sounds a bit small for a car with bolt ons. ESPECIALLY with cams. I mean, you're making more flow with the upgraded cams and such, so I would assume you would have to upgrade the exhaust to a larger diameter. And for a N/A car that would mean larger than 2.25". Exhaust flows only as much as the smallest diameter would allow. I mean, a 2.25" catback would choke a 2.5" downpipe. And a 2.5" catback wouldn't make a big difference on a 2" downpipe.

I would try fitting a larger header, and see if that frees up power.

I have reset the ECU so many times I no longer have the kick panel installed so I can just turn the screw. lol.

I agree on the downpipe, though I may have meant to say the downpipe is 2 1/4" if that matters or not. It is the eBay OBX header or whatever, if anyone knows or has one im sure you know what size it is and can check. It was like 140 dollars so I didn't expect much.

Ok guys, I will be posting a bunch of videos in the next hour or so.

Video 1 is an upclose view of the motor up top with the valve cover removed. Remember, this looked at least 10 TIMES WORSE a year ago when I first pulled the VC off. The engine flushes and switching to only Mobil-1 synthetic cleared it up a buit. But it still looks like crap:

Ok as promised, here is a video from today with a suction cup camera in the car in question. Again, I understand this may not help much at all but at its the next best thing than physically being inside the car at the time

i know vids always make cars look slower than they are but that does seem a bit on the slow side, mabey its just a stock low compression motor or mabey it is the exhaust holding it back?? I know with my p10 if i was to rev out second through a built up area like what you drove through id be arrested as i would of been close to 90kph top end of 3rd gear is prity much 150kph and my cams are alot smaller than the specs you have given
