DET to DE
this is my first build and i have a few questions and i'm new to this whole forum thing.
i have a 96 se-r that blew a head gasket, EB86 found a Highport DET locally wiith BC2's for me.
he and i swapped the det pistons with VE's and i now have the motor back together for the most part.
1. the water pipe is different from the high port to the low port right?
2. when removing the injectors from my old motor to put into my new motor, i seem to have lost one of the injector washers, is this a problem? could i mic the old ones out and find a suitable replacement?
3.i have had a blockout plate made for the turbo water on the side of the head and i am getting a brass plug for the turbo oil drain at the base of the block, are there any other blockouts/modifications i will need to make to convert this motor to N/A?
thank you for your time, and i look forward to hearing your answers.
